A recent research on international education reveals that Germany is the global leader in attracting international students. United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the US and South Korea also featured in the top destination for international students. Availability of scholarships, quality and cost of education, cost of living and international student polices are the major reason students consider studying in these countries. Ability to attract and retain international students is a factor top global universities consider important in their agenda to portray their institutions as global centres of excellence.

 Germany is known to have produced some of the best public figures known today. The universities based in Germany are equipped with state of the art facilities.

The Freie Universitat Berlin is one of the Universities in Germany that hosts a considerable number of international students across 80 different nationalities. The University offers a wide range of courses; from Arts and Humanities to Science and Technology. South Korea

The education system in South Korea has been ranked one of the best in the world. This is because the education structure, quality of standards and research capacity. The Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) is one of the leading universities in the Republic of Korea due its global approach to courses and management.
HUFS has nearly 1,500 international students and a vibrant exchange programme in partnership with 444 universities and institutions.

Many of past and current Korean diplomats and ambassadors have graduated from HUFS. It also has one of the world’s leading graduate schools of Interpretation and Translation, owing its strongest reputation largely to its strengths in 45 language departments, which is the third largest number in the world. HUFS has also the best reputation in the fields of international studies, diplomacy, foreign affairs and trade, broadcasting, and mass media. Other universities include:

Canada

Canada is known to produce good output when it comes to foreign students and many students prefer the Canadian Environment because of the high quality services rendered there.

However, Canada is known to be the least provider of scholarships as compared to the United Kingdom or the United States of America.  Key universities found in Canada include:

There are other many universities that are also suitable for international students, but the listed ones here guarantee quality education and a recognizable certificate making graduates highly marketable. But you have to do your research and consider all factors before making your decision. However, local universities are still cheaper compared to foreign universities. An average BA degree in Canada for example costs $40,000 (Sh3.4 million) while the same degree in a private university in Kenya on average would cost Sh1.08 million.
