You really don’t know how wretched my life was. All you could see was a good Christian child. I was regarded as an innocent, decent and God fearing child. Full of God’s anointing but what’s done in the secret, only God sees.
Sometimes I would pray: God please don’t expose my shameful desires. Glory be to God, something happened and my life changed forever. His Spirit visited me one day. There was no escape, the arrest of my life, so I yielded.
The fornication was enough, the lying, the stealing and hiding from God that I had soaked wet in were all enough. God’s Spirit arrested me.
I confessed and asked him to be my Lord and personal Saviour. It was not just enough to get born again because as the Lord saw me as a found child and heavens rejoiced, the devil saw a prodigal son and his kingdom mourned so he devised mechanisms to get me back.
The devil was not happy with my happiness in the Lord; he wanted me back to his hell team so he kept troubling me. Maybe I would give up and come back to my miserable life. He was persistent with different spicy, juicy and assorted traps to make me fall.
That was about same time the Lord positioned a great lady in my life. She took me to the house of God consistently. I joined a campus fellowship, Crazy For Christ Ministries, attended regularly Sunday morning services of GHAMSU-UEW and got connected to the Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners’ Chapel international, Winneba branch.
I realized that the devil had planned to come in different ways so I was also prepared to face him in different ways. If you fail to plan you plan to fail it is said.
My old life began to fade away rapidly. What a wonderful life to enjoy with Christ: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Cor 5: 17.
I discovered great hidden talents that lied dormant in me. The Holy Spirit through this lady inspired me to grow from a baby singer to the next level in singing. I grew with time from singing to ministering as I found myself in the counsel of music ministers.
I discovered also by laying on of hands that I was a good public speaker. How sweet to have the Holy Ghost leading your life affairs. Now I discovered my brand new name. For He said I will make of you a great nation and give you a great name.
