Two Fellows of the University of Ghana’s Institute of African Studies (IAS), Professor Albert Awedoba and Dr Deborah Atobrah have received a prestigious Rockefeller Foundation Residence award to be taken at the Rockefeller Foundation’s beautiful and serene residency in Bellagio, Italy.
The residency will be used to complete work on their monograph project, “Family Planning and Reproductive Health Matters in West Africa.”
A statement released by the Institute of African Studies notes: “We are proud of this joint project between a senior scholar who has spent much of his career mentoring younger faculty and students, and a budding young scholar.”
