The College of Allied Sciences in the Volta region is set to operate effectively on September 28 in spite of challenges.
The College of Allied Sciences is one of two newly constructed universities in Ghana.
The college has admitted students and is set to begin its first academic year this month.
In an interview with Citi News, the chairman of the College of Allied Sciences in the Volta region, Professor Kofi Anyidoho said “the immediate needs for the students have been met for school to commence.”
“What we need for a start is almost ready; some we’ve already taken possession, the rest we are doing some finishing works,” he said.
“We are meeting with the contractors and consultants; we are hoping that when the students get in, things will be ready for them.”
