Unity Hall residents (Continentals) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) arrested an alleged student impersonator in the early hours of Sunday (October 12, 2014) when he tried to steal items from a room in Block A of the hall.

Speaking to myJCR News, a Continental reported that an outsider, who claimed to be a student entered one of the rooms in Block A but got busted when he tried taking away phones and laptops of occupants.

The Continentals who rushed to the scene when the alarm was raised taught the alleged thief “smallllll lesson” before the security guards on duty managed to pick and lock him at the porter’s lodge of the hall.

The residents became calm when the alleged thief was handed over to the campus police.

Students are advised to lock their rooms whenever they want to sleep.
