The International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences (IAAS) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will start its 35th Annual Green Week Celebration from March 15 to March 21, 2015 under the theme “The Graduate Agricultural Student, An Asset to National Development”.
The celebration which is proudly sponsored by myJCR.com will focus on the current state of agriculture in Ghana, underexploited areas in agriculture, and the role of an Agriculturist to national development.
The Chairman for this year’s celebration is Dr. S. Fialor and the Special Guest of Honour is Hon. Dr. Almed Yakubu Alhassan (Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture).

The Legon branch of IAAS will however start its 36th Annual Green Week Celebration on March 13, 2015 under the theme “Making Agriculture Attractive to the Ghanaian Youth; the Role of Stakeholders”. The highlight of the Legon branch celebration will be a Green Fashion Show on Thursday March 19 at the Lecture Theatre 3 of School of Agriculture, Legon.
