The mere thought of this semester brings happiness to me and I think not only myself being a final year student reading BSc Biological Science, but also to as many as close to seven thousand students who would be exiting this university in less than seven months’ time.
To the great grand architect of this universe (GOD), we say we are indeed very grateful to you for your protection throughout our four years stay on campus KNUST. This semester I must say, is full of departmental and colleges socializing as well as the various diners (yeah my favourite), drink-ups, pool parties (beware of the pools anyway), denominational socializing, hall week celebrations, last and perhaps most importantly the change in student administration from the highest being the SRC to the lowest being the departmental executives.
With all these numerous activities scheduled undoubtedly to happen this semester, let’s not forget about the fact that our main and primary objective here on campus is to study, make our grades and finally leave the school. To wit, time management should be a very vital factor to us even as students in all these activities underway this semester so that we don’t compromise our main reason here.
To cut a lengthy story short, is my prayer even as a student of this great institution that, the good Lord who knew us even before we were born guides and protect us this semester so that at the end of this semester after all the drink ups, socializing, hall weeks, politics and what have you, we shall say GLORY BE TO HIS HOLY NAME ON HIGH.
On this note, I extend to you all a hearty hand welcoming you back to campus KNUST and as such to the second semester of the 2014/2015 academic year. Enjoy the semester blissfully and God richly bless you all.
