You have seen Kalybos as a liar, a deceiver, and a joker. How about seeing him with all these comic characteristics on stage as a Father? Yes, I mean a Roman Catholic Priest!
The only boss with one “s” will storm KNUST live on Saturday, 18th October, 2014 at Central Classroom Block (CCB) Auditorium in a musical stage play, “Tales of Father Amos”, written and directed by Angelina Brenya-Nyarko.
Kalybos, has become a household name in Ghanaian comedy and showbiz after staring in several short comic videos titled “Boys Kasa”. In these short videos, Kalybos is seen doing his best to impress and woo his crush, Ahuof3 Patri, who always seem thrilled but uninterested in him. Kalybos does not leave his viewers unentertained.
In “Tales of Father Amos”, Kalybos stars as a beggar who coincidentally meets two innocently guilty and frightened deacons of a newly formed church. He cunningly leads the two deacons to cover up a murder of their new priest just to get ahead of them and pretend to be the new priest.
It is his first stage drama on KNUST campus and promises to be one in a life time kind of experience for patrons especially comedy lovers.
The funny gestures and remarks, the set design and costume. Not forgetting the crowd, the cheers and roaring laughter from the teaming crowd. It is going to be a phenomenal night as comedy in Ghana takes on a new status. This is the most awaited stage drama on KNUST campus this semester, a night with the amusing, clever, nervy and the man of the moment, Kalybos.
Grab your ticket for only GH¢15.00 for any of the two shows (6pm and 8pm).
