The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Council has appointed Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, Provost of the College of Science, as the new Vice-Chancellor.
He replaces Professor William Otoo Ellis, whose term of office ends in August, this year.
Professor Obiri-Danso, a Biological Scientist, is to serve a four- year term, ending July 31, 2020.
A statement, signed by Mr. Ben O. Andoh, acting Registrar of the KNUST, on Thursday, said the decision was taken at the 238th Special Meeting of the Council.
