A final year student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Mr. Samuel Siaw, died in the early hours of Monday (October 27, 2014) at the University Hospital.
Speaking to myJCR News, a class mate who prefers to remain anonymous indicated that Samuel was admitted at the University Hospital on Thursday when he was rushed there for treatment of what they guessed was malaria but he passed on the following Monday. The exact cause of his death is not yet known.
His body has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital mortuary.
Samuel Siaw was a resident of Republic Hall but an affiliate of Queens Hall. He was in the Department of Painting and Sculpture.
