The Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology will from Monday, November 24, 2014 start a the pilot phase of the SRC Buss Pass System.
This is an initiative to ease the transportation burden on students to and from lectures especially those whose lecture halls are far apart.
During the pilot phase which starts on Monday till the end of the semester, students will be able to board the SRC buses free of charge from Gaza, Royal Parade Grounds, Brunei, Evandy, Kotei, and Ayeduase to Faculty Area and School of Business.
For the second phase of the project, an amount of money will be taken from students who wish to subscribe to the system during the , then an I.D card will be issued to them for easy identification by the shuttle drivers.
All students with disability will board the shuttles free of charge even during the second phase.
