A 24-year-old hole-in-heart patient, who is a student of the University of Ghana, says her situation is getting precarious and could get out of hand if no philanthropist comes to her aid so she could undergo a life-saving surgical operation. Fuseina Adams, who has been on admission at the Korle bu Teaching hospital for close to a month now, needs GH¢14,000 to undergo an urgent surgery to replace a damaged heart-valve.

Complications from the previous operation have left her with bloated stomach and thighs. Fuseina is left with no other option but to defer her education for the next academic year.

A heart surgeon at the Korle Bu Cardiothoracic Centre, Dr. Baffoe Gyan, explained to XYZ News that Fuseina is suffering from a valvular leak which when not corrected immediately, could lead to severe implications.

To assist this young lady, kindly make your donations into this account; Fuseina Adama, 0293124477326101, KNUST Branch of Ecobank.
