Behind every trial and sorrow that makes our shoulders shake in painful grief, God has a reason. The University of Ghana SRC has learnt with shock the very fatal accident involving the SRC Executives of Central University College two days ago.
We are rendered extremely sorrowful about the unfortunate accident, especially considering the physically unbearable casualties recorded. We wish to extend our deep-hearted sympathies to all the victims, particularly to the Central University College SRC and their general student following.
The SRC President of the University of Ghana, Mr. Eric Edem Agbana yesterday led a team of 5 to console our CUC SRC brothers and sisters at the Hospital.
At this very regretful period, the thoughts and prayers of the entire students of the University of Ghana are with you, our cherished counterparts in this very painful moment. We assure you, unconditionally, of our unflinching support and unalloyed willingness to whole-heartedly participate in the process of assuaging your pain.
We know the inadequacy of words in such scathing pain, but keep in mind, that Heaven knows we need never be afraid of our tears in pain, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of the earth. We shall continue to remember you in our prayers.
