Dr Samuel Bekoe, President of UTAG, has indicated their meeting with government today (Tuesday, September 2, 2014) was successful and that both parties have agreed to move forward.
Government has agreed to pay the allowance arrears for 2013/2014 by end of the year but according to the President of UTAG, he has to carry the message to members of UTAG before they decide whether to call off the strike or not.
He continued that it is not likely their decision will come out tomorrow (September 3, 2014) but by close of this week, their final decision will be known to all. myJCR.com will bring you an update as soon as UTAG releases their decision.
