Speeding car kills UDS graduate a day after graduation

Reports reaching myJCR News indicate that a speeding Nissan Pick-up vehicle knocked down and killed a 23 year old graduate of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Emmanuella Dong, Sunday night (after her graduation ceremony on Saturday) in Wa.

Speaking to myJCR News, a witness indicated that Emmanuella had been offered a ride to the Wa Campus of the university by a masters student to enable her pick her certificate and return to Kumasi on Monday when a speeding pick up truck knocked them down.

Emmanuella died on the spot whereas the masters student who was in a very critical condition was rushed to the Wa Regional Hospital for medical care by an ambulance.

Her graduation ceremony was held on Saturday, December 6, Forecourt of Lecture Halls 1&2 Bamahu, Wa Campus.

Emmanuella was an old student of Adventist Senior High School and was having her national service at Kinross Gold Ghana Litd.
