Students of the Great Casely Hayford Hall of UCC led by their Chief Priest, the SUPREME COMMANDER (Supremo), last Friday embarked on a serious procession to mark the commencement of the end of semester examination. As usual of Casfordians, a mega “charging” took place in the Hall around 7pm with chanting morale songs.
The “superpowers” of UCC took to the principal streets of UCC around 9pm, after the mega “charging”, by passing through Sasakawa road to Science Shuttle Station. They proceeded with serious morale to Amamoma, a suburb of the University community, through to Apewosika School Park then headed towards Oguaa Hall.
They landed on their destination to old site where they were received by a vast majority of their women, the ROYALS of Adehye Hall at the forecourt.
On reaching the forecourt of Adehye Hall, most of the royal ladies started screaming “More morale…fellow Casfordians, we love you”.
Students of the Atlantic Hall, fellow Mariners, came there to do what students initially thought to be a challenge to the Casfordians. Amazingly, students of the two powerful halls of UCC chanted in harmony and not even a cotton wool was thrown at each other despite the rivalry that exist between the two halls.
The combined chanting and morale were very intense and all eyes were on them on campus. They left personnel from the Ghana Police Service who rushed to the scene to ensure peace no work to do. The policemen saw the opposite of what they might have expected thus packed their weapons and left.
The Supremo of Casfordians wished students, especially Casfordians and Royals, luck in the impending examination especially the cas4dians and royals. The Casfordians returned to the ‘University within a University” happy and ready to face the examination.
