The Computer Laboratory at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has been refurbished to facilitate teaching, learning and research.
The refurbishment was made possible when the Faculty teamed up with an alumnus, Mr. Charles Adjei who contributed $10,000 to purchase the computers for the laboratory.
Officially inspecting the computers, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. S. B. Kendie said that the laboratory could now boast of 36 computers and a projector to enhance teaching and learning. He disclosed that some spaces had been created to enable the students to use their own laptops.
Prof. Kendie expressed gratitude to Mr. Charles Adjei and the faculty members for the support and assured them that the facility would be put to good use.
Present at the brief ceremony were Heads of Department and a cross-section of staff in the faculty.
