The Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. John Nelson Buah has called for the ban on Casford to be lifted to allow the Hall celebrate its hall week.
He made this statement last Saturday at the launch of the 51st SRC Week Celebration which is on the theme “Badder than Bad” at the Auditorium 900, UCC.
Prof. Buah believes the ban on Casford had overstayed and thus called on the SRC President to formally appeal to the University Authority.
He added he would take the front-line role to ensure the ban is lifted when the appeal is formally made.
He maintained that, as much as students have the responsibility to be disciplined and observe all the University’s protocols, there was also the need for students to entertain themselves.
