The Development Officer of the University of Cape coast (UCC), Mr Edward Dadzie, has said the UCC Sports Complex could be completed in the next two months.
Mr Dadzie explained, the contractor was on site working to ensure the early completion of the sports facility.
Speaking in a telephone conversation with Kobby Stone on ATL Fm’s Sports Show, PAE MU KA, Mr. Dadzie noted that the authorities of the University were in serious deliberations with the contractor to ensure the deadline for the work was met.
The Development Officer added that the needed funds and building materials have been made available hence, should the contractor fail to meet the deadline, authorities of UCC have the mandate to take him on.
The building of the Sports Complex which has volleyball, handball and basketball courts, hockey and soccer pitches and a gymnasium started early this year.
The uncompleted complex hosted this year’s edication of the the Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) games.
