The College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has lined up programmes for its 4th annual week celebration.The five day celebration which begins on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 is under the theme: The Role of Art And Social Sciences in A Technological World.
This year’s celebration promises to be an all inclusive and crowd pulling event. The celebration is expected to draw distinguished personalities such as Joy fm Morning Show host, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Senior Journalist, Kwesi Pratt.
Students in the college are already warming up to the one week of fun which promises to be the biggest and most entertaining event of the semester.
Below is a line up of programmes from the 6th to 10th of November:
– Wednesday, 6th November: Launch of CASS week and Public Lecture at the Law Auditorium.
– Thursday, 7th November: Visit to Kumasi prisons and outreach at Asokore Mampong JHS.
– Friday, 8th November: Skelewu Night (A night of comedy, fashion, music, drama and moot court @ Fore Court of Independence Hall.
– Saturday, 9th November: Islam Hour @ 8pm.
– Sunday, 10th November: Gospel Rock show.
