The College of Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is organizing its third Career Fair from Thursday 27th of February 2014 to Saturday, 1st of March 2014 in the College Auditorium.
The fair will feature top engineering companies and industries from across the country and outside the country. Some of the top engineering firms that participated in last year’s fair include TullowGh. Ltd., Cummins, Tenaris from Italy, Goldenstar, Silver Star Ghana Ltd.
The fair is intended to provide a forum for these top engineering companies/industries to present their companies/industries to students and also for them to commence the process of recruiting directly from the College.
For graduating students, it will be an excellent opportunity to come face to face with these engineering companies/industries as well as discover opportunities available in their chosen field of study.
The presentation from the companies will also educate students on what is expected of graduates in terms of qualifications, skills and personal strengths. Therefore the fair is intended for all students not only graduating students.
It will help prepare you for industry as you go through your programme. The College, therefore, is using this opportunity to invite you to participate in the fair. The fair will take place from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Thursday and Fridayat the Auditorium of the College of Engineering. For Saturday it will take place from 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
