This is to inform all freshmen of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology that medical examination for the 2014/2015 resumes on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the University Hospital.
According to a staff of the hospital who disclosed this to myJCR KNUST, management of the hospital has decided to resume the medical examination for freshmen which was earlier suspended due to the risk of Ebola outbreak.
The medical examination will be done for all freshmen of the university between the hours of 8:00am to 3:00pm from Monday to Saturday.
The medical examination involves the following:
– completion of medical forms by student
– taking of vital signs by nurses
– x-ray (optional at the hospital)
– laboratory investigations
– physical examination and certification by doctors
