There are currently 36 bed spaces for gentlemen and 15 bed spaces for ladies for occupancy in staff bungalows on campus. The ladies who opted for option ‘c’, that is ‘those that want no refunds but want to be housed as close as possible to the faculty and not in the halls’ will be ready by tomorrow Saturday 18, January, 2014.
All the ladies who selected that option are expected to report at the Office of the Dean of Students between the hours of 2pm and 4pm to be ferried to the location. It would be 3 in a room with a sitting room and a kitchen. It is clean and with security. That for the gentlemen would be ready by Tuesday evening. There are still a number of spaces available on first come first serve basis for both ladies and gentlemen.
My Office is opened tomorrow Saturday 18, January 2014 from 10am to 5pm to register those who want to leave on campus and to complete the registration of all those who lived in Crystal Rose Hostel.
There are 60 students to be accounted for out of the 300 who lived there. There has been a meeting the management of Crystal Rose Hostel and myself and that the second option of those who have found their own hostel would be joined to those who want a refund so that they get their refund back.
In my candid opinion, as many as can take up the accommodation on campus should do so in other to have your own space and peace to study.
The management of Crystal Rose Hostel would like students to know that as a result of the long bank processes mean that, those who need their refund can only be paid from the Dean of Students’ Office by Thursday, 23 January, 2014. All should exercise patience.
