DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION FOR CONGREGATION IS MONDAY, JULY 21 2014 – 5:00PM PROMPT!
– The date of congregation is Saturday, July 26, 2014.
– Graduands who wish to attend the congregation are required to register on-line on the university’s congregation website.
– Upon registration, an invoice will be generated for payment of GHS140.00 congregation fee at any branch of, Ecobank and HFC Bank. In addition, MTN subscribers can pay the fee using MTN Mobile Money.
– Upon presentation of the printout of payment details at the respective school/faculty, graduands will be issued with academic gowns, souvenirs and invitation cards.
– Graduands should locate their seats prior to the commencement of the ceremony. Graduands should be seated by 8:00am for the morning session and by 1:00pm for the afternoon session.
– Graduands will be recognized individually by officials on the dais.
– Male graduands are expected to take off their caps before approaching the dais.
– The gowns should be returned from Saturday, July 26, 2014 (after the congregation) to Friday, August 8, 2014 to the respective faculty.
– Upon return of gowns and presentation of student identification cards, academic certificates and programmes will be issued to you.
– Non-return of gowns by the deadline will attract a penalty.
– Do make it a point to register officially as alumnus of the University of Ghana at the UG Alumni office.
