Is myJCR concerned with only public universities?

One most frequently asked question from students in Ghana so far has been: Is myJCR concerned with only public universities? The answer is No.

We have been answering this question over and over again thus we decided to publish this for the benefit of those who also want to know why most updates of myJCR has been from KNUST, Legon, and UCC.

myJCR started as a pilot project at KNUST and the maiden phase went online on Monday, January 2, 2012 with a desire to serve students in ALL tertiary institutions in Ghana…one campus at a time.

During this pilot phase, we selected temporal representatives from ‪‎KNUST‬, ‪Legon‬, and ‪UCC‬ to help test our system and strategies. That is the main reason why most of our updates are from those institutions.

Those institutions were selected based on the fact that the CEO and Admins of ‪myJCR‬ are from the three (3) institutions thus they already understand “how stuffs work” on those campuses.

As you may be aware, myJCR is currently recruiting student volunteers to join the various campus teams as we prepare for the FINAL launch per campus from the 2013/2014 Academic Year.

Dozens of students have applied to join our teams on various campuses of tertiary institutions in Ghana but only Five (5) will be selected. We have a lot to offer students in Ghana…poco a poco…we will get there.

To communicate with our CEO directly, please write to hilary[at]myJCR.com.

Thank you for Staying Connected! Deus Lux Scientiae!
