The answer is quiet obvious, the College as we all know is losing its core values and culture due to huge lapses in the CURRENT administration.
This is where by the College authorities are looting money to enrich themselves and buying flamboyant cars and all what they care is how to manage and manipulate figures of school fees and billing of unnecessary items to get money. Is Prempeh College a business company?
ACADEMICS:
The general academic performance of entire students is diminishing and always playing second fiddle to our arch rivals, Opoku Ware School (OWASS). And this is due to lack of proper supervision and disunity among tutors.
Our tutors are not united and this shows abysmal in academic performance. For instance, the College was not able to finish 1st-10th position in entire 2012 WASSCE rankings nationwide.
We were also known for National Debate competition but now, we’re always eliminated and not to talk about National Science and Maths Quiz which is the mouthpiece of academic performance for accessing a school by the general public.
SANITATION:
No wonder Prempeh College is now called. “School of Filth”. Does construction of Sofoline Interchange mean we should eat FILTH. This is whereby the College is filled with dirt and the school buildings are painted by dirt but as we all know, the College was known for its beatification and now we can’t boast of that.
Past Prempeh College was painted every TERM and now is only painted when we’re having our speech days.
Please, our alma matter needs expeditious change.
SPORTS:
This sector also needs revival, please let’s analyze this, under normal circumstance if you’re a coach and you’re performing in a football team, what happens to the Coach if even the players are not good? SACK the Coach in charge of ATHLETICS.
The Coach is doing nothing. The football team is doing somehow good. Prempeh College today can’t boast of Super Zonal Trophy anymore. Indeed the College is falling.
HOME COMING:
Home Coming is an annual gathering of immediate past students of the College in various universities to converge on Campus of the College to pay a courtesy visit and share some one or two words with current students and also to raise funds. These days, the Headmaster chase old students out of their HOME with police.
Y2K is No More…This culture of the College is NO more observed.
OH ! PREMPEH COLLEGE, QUO VADIMUS?
Now our cry is: WE NEED OLD STUDENT AS HEADMASTER. PERIOD! Just compare Snr. Afoakwa Sekyere (BOSS or SADAM) era to Current Administration…It is uncomparable!
SENIORS…Let’s rise and rebuild Prempeh College because my blood is GREEN. I will be back again. Thanks for your time.
