The Republic Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) was named ‘Republic’ to commemorate Ghana’s attainment of a Republic status in 1960. The Hall reflects the tenacity of the Ghanaian people to master their own laws and sovereignty. Republc Hall has one of the most outstanding architectire on campus; the whole main hall is a labyrinth.
Mongols as members of the Hall are a known on the campus for their popular Republic Hall Week Celebration. The climax of the Hall Week Celebration dubeed “FunCity” which has made the Hall very popular nationwide features soe of Ghana’s finest artistes who thrill students to a number of hits in the country.
Mongols are passionate about thier Hall and have a deep commitment to their hall week celebration. Due to the ‘high class’ of the Repu Hall Weeks, student leaders of the hall continue to do their best to deliver an unforgettable experience each year.

Wednesday, March 19 – Admission symposium, Rep ur skuul (Back 2 Skuul)
Thursday, March 20 – The search for KNUST’s finest DJ.
Friday, March 21 – Bounce and Fashion show
SATURDAY, MARCH 22 – FUN CITY and BOUNCE FINALS + Celebrity Photo Shoot
Sunday, March 23 – Come Alive (Gospel rap show) + Pool Side Jam
