Reopening dates of universities remain unchanged despite UTAG strike

The reopening dates indicated in the 2015/2016 academic calendar remain unchanged despite the declaration of indefinite strike by the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).

Continuing and fresh students are therefore to take note and report to school.

Legon continuing students report on Wednesday, August 12 to Sunday August 16, 2015.
KNUST continuing students report on Friday, August 21, 2015.
UCC continuing students report on Saturday, August 15, 2015.

The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) declared an indefinite strike at a meeting held at the University Of Education, Winneba on Wednesday following what they say is government’s delay to pay their 2014/2015 Book and Research allowances.
