Actor, Van Vicker returned to his alma mater, Mfantsipim Senior High School in Cape Coast on Saturday to launch his Van Vicker Foundation Club (VVFC).
The Van Vicker Foundation Club is a non-Government organization aimed at inspiring and empowering the youth of today with knowledge, talent and skills.
Van believes, “leadership can be taught.” “I believe in the VVFC movement. The movement to inspire and empower the youth to be future leaders who exhibit excellence,” he added.
The foundation will be moving from school to school to inspire students in the coming months.
Saturday launching event was chaired by Dr. Kweku Twum Baah and attended by officials of Mfantsipim, students, members of Mfantsipim 1995 year group & also VVFC patrons.
Van in a speech about his success story and others, encouraged the students to take their studies serious.
There was also a musical performance by Mr. Wise and other activities aside the sod-cutting ceremony to officially launch the VVFC.
