The department
In this era of digitization, the Department of Communication Design, with the support of the Vice
Chancellor, continues to step up its vision, mission and mandate by taking advantage of the technological advancement to advance its course.
One area of advancement is to train and equip its graduates to champion educational broadcasting. Such decision was to augment the teaching and learning capabilities of the department and its graduates.
Establishing a television broadcast on the university campus was also to contribute towards the human resource capacity building of its multimedia students.
The department, and for that matter the university in general, is of the view that having its own television station will strengthen its capacity to give real life training to students.
