The University of Ghana announces that it will hold Congregation Ceremonies for students from the under-mentioned Faculties/Schools/Institute who successfully completed their programmes in June 2013 and the June 2012 cohort of Distance Education students. The July Congregation Ceremonies will be held on 25th and 26th July, 2013 as follows:

Thursday, 25th July,2013

Morning Session: 8:00 a.m. – Great Hall
UGBS – City Campus, Main Campus and Diploma (Graduands for June 2013)

Afternoon Session: 2:00 p.m. – Great Hall
Distance Education Programme (Graduands for June 2012)

Friday, 26th July, 2013

Morning Session: 8:00 a.m. – Great Hall
School of Graduate Studies (Graduands for June 2013)

Afternoon Session: 2:00 p.m. – Great Hall
Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, School of Nursing and School of Pharmacy (Graduands for June 2013).

Accordingly, students who completed their programmes in June 2012/2013 from these Faculties/Schools/Institute and who wish to be presented during the July 2013 ceremonies are required to register before the closing date of Tuesday, July 23, 2013.

Graduands are required to pay GH¢120 at any branch of Ecobank, HFC or through MTN Mobile Money and present the payment slip and registration particulars at their Faculties/Schools/Institute for their graduation gown, invitation cards for graduands and two guests, and souvenirs.

All Graduands will be provided with University souvenirs in the form of neckties for male and scarves for females at registration, which they are encouraged to use on the day.

Those to be presented will be expected to come along with their invitation cards and ensure their two guests bring their cards as well. Admission is strictly by invitation. Graduands are expected to be seated in the Great Hall in the academic gown appropriate to their degrees, worn preferably over a suit/jacket with tie or other suitable dress.

Results of graduands to be presented in July 2013 are available on notice boards at the Balme Library and on the University’s website, www.ug.edu.gh. Graduands can also access the information from their online accounts (MISWEB).

PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid traffic congestion on the congregation days:
1. All entry and exit points to/from the University will be opened to the public.
2. The general public is advised to use alternative routes if they do not have any immediate business on the Legon Campus.
